Sh. Omer Haqqani memorized the Holy Qur'an at a young age in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before relocating to the United States at the age of 12. He later pursued formal Islamic studies, earning a Bachelor's degree with a major in Shariah and a minor in the Arabic language from the esteemed institutions of the University of Damascus in Syria and Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulema in Lucknow, India.

For over 15 years, he has led Hajj and Umrah groups, sharing his knowledge and experience with pilgrims from across the country. Currently, he serves as an IT Executive in downtown Chicago. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he is actively involved in community service—frequently delivering Friday khutbahs, conducting educational programs, and offering guidance on religious and social matters throughout the Chicagoland area.

Sh. Omer has also had the honor of serving on the boards of several Masajid and Islamic organizations, contributing his leadership and insight to strengthen the Muslim community.
